Made to Swing, Not Just Sit

This owl is built in with a string or loop so you can hang it from a hook, window frame or balcony rail. Unlike a fixed piece, it catches the breeze ever so slightly, giving it a small bit of life whenever the air moves through the room.

Bringing Colour Overhead

The bright, hand painted pattern is easy to spot even when hanging above eye level, making it a good option for places where a shelf piece might get overlooked, such as a high window, a porch corner, or a bare stretch of wall.

Finding the Right Spot

It looks fantastic near a window where the light hits it, on a balcony amongst plants or hung along a wall as part of a small gallery of similar pieces and because it is light there is no need for heavy duty hardware to put it up.

A Little Meaning in the Hang

Owls are often viewed as wise and watchful and a hanging piece such as this is sometimes placed near an entrance or window with the idea that it watches quietly over the space below it.

Taking Care of It

If you hang it outdoors, hang it out of direct rain and harsh sun and wipe it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth so that the colors stay fresh and the wood does not wear down too quickly.
